Having won over the masses south of the river with their record store-inspired venues, Venn St. Records and Northcote Records, the vibe continues East side with Old St. Records . Set across two floors, the 300-capacity bar and pizza place promises live music six nights a week, with an eclectic programme of soul, funk, jazz and rock to classic pop. Music is the driving force behind the bar - not only in the list of renowned DJs lined up to play but also in the decor - record sleeves adorn the walls and new vinyl releases are available to buy behind the bar. Entry on weeknights is free and Friday and Saturday nights welcome the weekend with two live acts a night. Cocktails include twists on classics like the signature Sour Records - Whiskey Sour with pistachio syrup - peach Negroni and Smoked Pineapple Punch. Thin crust Italian pizza is served with fresh toppings and dips. Thursdays are P45 party nights featuring live music on the ground floor from the London Ska Orchestra and The Last Of and lairy brass act, Old Dirty Brasstards in the basement plus DJs playing across both floors until 2am.
