Feeding London's new appetite for Peruvian food, Pisqu on Rathbone Place uses quality, fresh ingredients, many of which have been sourced from the Amazon and Andes, to showcase the flavours of modern day Lima. Also taking inspiration from Spain, Japan and China, the menu is made up on not only ceviche but also grilled duck breast with purple corn rice, baked purple potato with avocado and tomato tree sauce, confit pork belly with sweet potato, and sashimi cut salmon with ponzu, rocoto chilli and tiger's milk. For dessert, choose from Amazonian chocolate mousse with matcha ice cream, parfait with aguymanto syrup and a traditional Peruvian biscuit with dulce de leche and lucuma. The restaurant also plays host to regular ceviche and pisco sour cocktail masterclasses.
