Part of Hippo Inns, The Duke of Sussex overlooking Waterloo Millennium Green gives locals a warm and welcoming place to enjoy a pint with an open fire inside and one of the best beer gardens in Waterloo outside. The leafy garden has plenty of seating and is covered with heaters and lanterns for the winter months - perfect for an after work drink al fresco. Food is simple and harks back to the days when the British pub first came about, inspired by the Alehouses & Taverns with the open fire cooking that were used at that time. Best of all is the charcoal spit roasted chicken, brined and marinated for 24 hours for a charcoal flavour.
