Visitor Information
After a lengthy closure, the historic Elephant and Castle pub reopened in summer 2016 revealing a re-imagined interior inspired by the sixties tower block it rests underneath. Part of the Antic London group - which counts The Dogstar in Brixton and East Dulwich Tavern among its collection of more than forty pubs around town - the Elephant and Castle serves wines, cider and ale against a backdrop of burnt oranges, patterned wallpaper and banquette seating. At the bar there's Antic's own George Arthur cider and Volden beer as well as brews by local Bermondsey brewers Orbit and Four Pure.
