Located in Dulwich, just next to Sydenham Woods, The Wood House emerged from a major revamp in 2015 with a conservatory-style extension and expanded restaurant space. The bar, restored to its original location at the front of the pub, specialises in Young's ales, craft beers and premium spirits as well as bar snacks. Once the home of Joseph Paxton, architect of The Crystal Palace, the pub has a vast garden with heated garden huts - perfect private hire spaces for small groups throughout the year. In the run up to Christmas these outdoor huts become Alpine ski chalets surrounded by a festive market, Santa's grotto and a 12 foot Christmas tree.
