Where the Bush Bar and Grill used to be - down a dingy alley off Goldhawk Road - we now have the Green Room. Gone is the swanky brasserie and cocktail bar, instead there's a pool hall and sports bar - plenty to keep the Kiwi kids of Shepherds Bush occupied of an evening. Six purple pool tables can be hired by the hour (yours for a tenner) while big screens at the other end of the warehouse space - originally a milk bottling factory - blare out important fixtures from Premier League to the Six Nations. Every Wednesday is competition night at the pool tables with a £50 bar tab up for grabs. The winner also gets free entry to the quarterly pool tournament. Food is served though it's of the 'burgers and fries' kind - think nachos and chicken wings for lite bites or stir fry and burgers for something more substantial.
