The leafy London suburb of Teddington has come a long way in the past twenty years. Restaurants need to keep up with the demands of the ever more urbane residents, which is exactly what the new Al Borgo aims to do. A traditional Italian Ristorante in many ways, Al Borgo is intimate, family run, relaxed and friendly. However a little extra spice has been added to what could be just another neighbourhood restaurant by owner Marco Borghesi and Head Chef Paolo Cavagnis, who have added style and flair to Italian dining. Comfortable and modern, the dining room combines a warm and cosy ambience with an Italian flair for glamour, while the menu likewise offers a unique and modern twist using seasonal, fresh food of the finest quality. At Al Borgo it is all about quality, fresh and home-made, honest Italian food and service.
