Royal China run a chain of restaurants, each with impeccable standards of food preparation and service, and in any of the various branches you are guaranteed a first class meal. The speciality of the Bayswater branch is Dim Sum, and it remains the best in London, if not Europe. A few rival establishments have tried to copy the house inventions, but none have bettered them. On weekends the queues start to form well before opening, but the wait and the slightly harassed service are worthwhile for the superb food on offer. The a la carte menu is extremely accomplished, but the vast majority of the beaming customers are tucking into exquisite rolls and dumplings.
Royal China continue to lead the way in the delicious and indulgent art form of Dim Sum. Outstanding.
Notes:
Reservations not possible for Dim Sum ? queues long on weekends. Private for dining 40.
