da Scalzo is a fairly new venture from Enzo and Robert Scalzo, two of the brothers behind the Patisserie Valerie chain. Having sold up a few years ago, they spent most of their time looking for that "special" place! They found it in this converted church hall. Set over a double vaulted main floor with two mezzanine levels above, which now house pieces from Enzo's private art collection. The menu is mainly Italian, with a hint from other parts of the Mediterranean."Our Italian roots give us the reason to offer good food and wine, and from our experiences with Patisserie Valerie, we have an open mind regarding dishes from other countries. We want to offer a relaxed enjoyable friendly experience, and with the art, we want to give the customer the feeling that they have entered our home," the Scalzo brothers proclaim.
