Famous for its crusty, chewy, slow fermented sourdough, Brick House Bakery supplies bread to top London restaurants including Duck Soup, Salon, Brunswick House, La Fromagerie, Frank's and Quo Vadis. The bakery first started in 2012 and by August 2018 there were two bakeries. This the original one in East Dulwich, in a converted warehouse transformed into a bakery and cafe under one roof, and a second one in Peckham. Weekend brunch brings sourdough 'Migas', a Spanish twist on fried bread served with chorizo, braised peppers and a fried egg, or toasted brioche with lemon mascarpone and roasted peaches, cornbread muffin with an egg inside, or morning buns with a choice of cinnamon or citrus sugar. Wash down with cold-pressed juices, Jarr Kombucha, and an immune system-saving Moju Ginger Booster, a spicy bloody Mary or bottle of Terra Serena Prosecco.
