The biggest European Karl Lagerfeld store occupies a prime Regent Street spot, giving shoppers an insight into the world of Karl with Lagerfeld's cutting edge designs for the home, men and women displayed in a state of the art store. Karl Lagerfeld the store is filled with men's and women's ready-to-wear, perfume, accessories, including handbags, leather goods, watches, eyewear, scarves, footwear as well as just about everything you could possibly want. Alongside the mainline collections is a specific UK Capsule collection which includes a range of Union Jack-motif pieces like Karl's signature fingerless leather gloves and, K/Kreepers, the K/Kuilted backpack, and his collectible tokidoki figure, 'Mr UK'. Throughout the 250 metres square store, mirrors and walls of light illuminate and enhance the collections on display. Digital gadgets are an integral part of the shop with photobooths in the changing rooms, and iPad minis on display racks where visitors can explore the entire collection online. Videos show the latest collections and Karl news, shoppers can surf Karl.com, take photos of their favourite items, and leave a message for the designer. The store was launched on Thursday 13th March 2014 with an A-list private cocktail party where a fleet of Karl Lagerfeld branded London taxis drove in convoy on Regent Street throughout the evening. Special guests included Princess Beatrice, Lady Amanda Harlech, Arizona Muse, Amber Le Bon, Haim, John Newman and David Gandy, and Karl Lagerfeld himself.
