Taking over the old Guardian building in Farringdon and filling it with rehearsal rooms and performance spaces, Theatre Delicatessen not only takes an entrepreneurial approach to theatre making, it also offers technical support and facilities for a monthly subscription fee for those working in the industry. Created in 2007 by directors Jessica Brewster, Frances Loy, Roland Smith and producer Mauricio Preciado Awad, Theatre Delicatessen has staged a number full-scale theatre productions in unusual places - in a derelict college building between Selfridges and St Christopher's Place, and in a disused workshop at 295 Regents Street. In February 2011, Theatre Delicatessen was profiled in The Observer as one of the "Bright Young Things Changing British Theatre", and in 2012 they brought Bush Bazaar to the Bush Theatre where 25 emerging theatre companies and over 100 performers took over the entire building.
